Accessories that add a statement to your Brides dress

After hours upon hours of shopping and deliberating, the hunt is finally over! You've found the one, the dress for your big day. But the process is not over yet. Now it's time to deal with the finishing touches. In fact, finding the right accessories is an important part of bringing your look to completion. Here are a few accessories that might add the perfect statement to the Brides dress of your dreams.

Hail The Veil

Regardless of your dress, a veil can bring elegance and mystique to your bridal attire. Birdcage veils are currently in vogue, creating that sought after vintage flair. But, perhaps, a long veil of lace would add the traditional look that you desire. Veils come in all different shapes, sizes, and materials, and it can be difficult to choose the best one for you. To narrow down your best options, consider your dress, your hair, your face-shape, your height, and your overall Brides style.

Bling Other Than Your Ring

Of course, your Brides ring will be the crown jewel of the day, but don't forget to look for other complimentary jewellery. Cool skin tones (those with bluish coloured veins) look best with silver metals, pearls, and diamonds, whereas, warm skin tones (those with greenish coloured veins) look best with gold. Stick to delicate, sophisticated pieces so as not to draw attention away from your dress.

Flashy Sash

If you've chosen a simple but classic Brides dress, a lovely sash may add the missing panache and personality you're looking for. Not to mention, this accessory provides a sliming effect to any waistline. Floral sashes are fun and fresh. Beaded sashes are classy and luxurious. Maybe you want to add a ribbon sash in the colour of your bridesmaids' dresses.

Heel Appeal

Last but not least, every girl needs a sexy pair of heels to complete the bridal package from head to toe. You don't have to stick with the color white. Many brides choose to use their shoes as their "something blue." Finding a pair of heels that you love will give you the confidence you need to walk down that aisle with grace and ease.

Finding the dress is the hard part. Accessorizing is fun! Take the time to look through the veils, the jewelry, the sashes, and the heels. These accessories just might add the perfect statement to the Brides dress of your dreams.

The Bride's Ensemble - Let's accessorize!

The bride is a vision of beauty when she steps into a room full of all the people she loves, her groom standing at the top waiting for her, her loving father on her arm carrying out the duty of giving her away on the big day. When you envision this moment how do you see yourself, how is your hair? what accessories are complimenting your dress? Yes, the bride's outfit is primarily about her dress but what you can add to the dress in the form of accessories is an endless realm of creativity! Fresh Flowers

Fresh flowers in your hair add a very natural look to the Brides and are a great substitute if you are choosing not to go with a veil.

Depending on the time of year it may be a good idea to have some sort of cover up that matches your dress. This will be ideal for in the church or when taking your photos. Sometimes a lace bolero or matching piece changes the look of the dress so you can have one look at the reception and another in the church. Shawls, long sleeved jackets are fluffy winter boleros are great additions to a winter Brides.

If you would like to feel truly like a princess on your Brides day you can opt for a tiara or something a little more subtle. Beautiful headbands are a great substitute again if you are choosing not to wear a veil however tiaras look beautiful with veils as well.
