1. Tell us about you and your company?
Design Your Moments is now established one year and is going great! I have a background in ceramic and metal design and graduated in 2006 with a 1st class honours degree in those fields. Since then, I worked and travelled and I'm also a bridal and photographic makeup artist so creativity is just a huge part of me. Through creating personalised gifts for family and friends the ripple effect has produced a very unique and growing business.
2. What’s in the range? What can a bride choose from?
Design Your Moments started as a Bespoke Service - catering to personalised ceramic characters that are designed by the client and created by myself. The Bespoke DYM Couples which are bridal pieces are still the most popular service in my business as the bride or groom can design every last detail, right down to their miniatures nail varnish and lipstick colour. I also introduced Swarovski Element Crystals to all our pieces. All the dress embellishments, cuff links and tiny engagement rings are Swarovski Elements giving each piece a truly beautiful sparkle. We now also cater to setting scenes for clients. For example, the picture I have attached was based on the couples love for sailing. I mimicked their Brides attire, and we incorporated the colour theme from their Brides - Strawberries & Cream to the piece. Our miniature bride also had a lilac Swarovski heart charm attached to her little arm. This piece was ordered as a surprise from her hubby and she can even take the charm off and wear it as a pendant or bracelet charm - how thoughtful was her guy! All Bespoke DYM Couples start at €165 and for larger scene's a quote is required.
The Classic DYM Couple is a more budget friendly service and our second most popular service. Great for those people who want to buy a personalised gift for their loved one's but have a budget or maybe dont have lots of personalised details to create a bespoke version. These come as a standard black & white couple as per attachment but you personalised the hair colour and style, eye colour and names & date on the glass base in gold or silver. The Classic DYM Couple is €100 .
Both the Bespoke & Classic pieces include Swarovski Elements Crystal detailing and each piece is presented in an ivory DYM keepsake box, ribboned and tagged for your inscription. A beautiful way to receive a gift!

We then together work on your miniatures design and the features you would like incorporate producing your perfect gift or keepsake and cake topper for your big occasion.
4. Have you any new products or services coming online in 2012 that you would like to share with us?
I'm currently starting work on DYM pieces for our Irish family abroad so to speak. There are many Irish couples or couples of Irish decent that would love a uniquely Irish Hand-created
