Accessories that add a statement to your Brides dress
After hours upon hours of shopping and deliberating, the hunt is finally over! You've found the one, the dress for your big day. But the process is not over yet. Now it's time to deal with the finishing touches. In fact, finding the right accessories is an important part of bringing your look to completion. Here are a few accessories that might add the perfect statement to the Brides dress of your dreams.
Hail The Veil
Regardless of your dress, a veil can bring elegance and mystique to your bridal attire. Birdcage veils are currently in vogue, creating that sought after vintage flair. But, perhaps, a long veil of lace would add the traditional look that you desire. Veils come in all different shapes, sizes, and materials, and it can be difficult to choose the best one for you. To narrow down your best options, consider your dress, your hair, your face-shape, your height, and your overall Brides style.
Bling Other Than Your Ring
Of course, your Brides ring will be the crown jewel of the day, but don't forget to look for other complimentary jewellery. Cool skin tones (those with bluish coloured veins) look best with silver metals, pearls, and diamonds, whereas, warm skin tones (those with greenish coloured veins) look best with gold. Stick to delicate, sophisticated pieces so as not to draw attention away from your dress.
Flashy Sash
If you've chosen a simple but classic Brides dress, a lovely sash may add the missing panache and personality you're looking for. Not to mention, this accessory provides a sliming effect to any waistline. Floral sashes are fun and fresh. Beaded sashes are classy and luxurious. Maybe you want to add a ribbon sash in the colour of your bridesmaids' dresses.
Heel Appeal
Last but not least, every girl needs a sexy pair of heels to complete the bridal package from head to toe. You don't have to stick with the color white. Many brides choose to use their shoes as their "something blue." Finding a pair of heels that you love will give you the confidence you need to walk down that aisle with grace and ease.
Finding the dress is the hard part. Accessorizing is fun! Take the time to look through the veils, the jewelry, the sashes, and the heels. These accessories just might add the perfect statement to the Brides dress of your dreams.

4 Ways to save money on Your Brides Shoes
Some might say you shouldn't spend so much money on the shoes because people will never see them under your dress. I tend to disagree because if you plan on having a kick-ass party, they will be seen for sure! Your shoes, jewelry and other accessories can complete the Brides look and should never be overlooked. But if you are trying to save some money to add another guest, here are 4 tips to get the best
bang for your buck on your Brides shoes:g for your buck on your Brides shoes:
| Source |
1. Facebook & Twitter – Search the web for a couple of accessory sites you like. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter. You are guaranteed to get special coupons and offers that only available for followers. Decided what style you want. As soon as you see that special offer, buy it immediately.
2. Borrow them – If you aren’t a shoe person and you know you’ll never wear the shoes again then just borrow them! Ask family and friends that have fancy shoes. Remember, they don’t have to be white Brides shoes.
3. Buy a non-Brides shoe – There is a very important distinction between something that is for a “Brides” and something that is “non-Brides”. And the difference is price. Buying a pair of shoes at a non-Brides location like a department store can save you money. And an added bonus, you can use a
regular coupon and get even a bigger discount.
4. Go simple –The more beading, the more money. Simple as that.
There. Don’t you feel better? The best part about this is you can apply these tips to anything you purchase for your Brides. Try it! A little money saving can go a long way.

It's Shoesday Tuesday: Love or Hate?
Part of me thinks that I should hate these shoes... I'm not entirely sure why, but they do make part of my skin crawl... and the other part of me absolutely loves them!
Maybe its because they are from the Paris Hilton Collection... maybe its because, while I like the idea of the bow, I think the material used to create it might be a little tacky... I don't know...
What is your opinion? Love or Hate?
