Kirby & Camille's Great Gatsby Prenup

Photography by RedSheep
When we did a little random 2013 forecast for weddings, we said that there was going to be a re-ignited interest on the Roaring 20s because of Baz Luhrman's Gatsby Movie. And here we are today, 3 features later--we've seen a slew of 20s/Gatsby-themed parties cropping up, and now a prenup!

Makeup artist Toni Rodriquez shares:

The couple wanted a 20's look, just in time for The Great Gatsby Movie! Location was done at the Manila Post Office :) I loved working with the couple since they were really game for this and as usual, I'm always amazed with how RabbitHole put everything together.

Do you have a roaring 20s story this year? We'd love to know! Email us at: rebellious.bride@gmail.com

When Mango Red & Everywhere We Shoot Collide

Then you will have an explosive, jaw-dropping, artistic rebellion. There are no rules. You may say it's "everywhere" but their art is not merely all over the place, it is simply boundless.

I specially love how the bride humbly begs off being called rebellious and gives more credit to Mango Red. It's like being beautiful and not even knowing it:

GAROVS: Hi mica! Actually di nga rebellious tingin ko sa kasal namin eh  Nag mukha lang rebellious dahil sa adik na rebellious MangoRed Ryan haha! Dahil sa kanya lahat yang nakikitang ganda!

I disagree, Garovs. How can Mango Red ever go wrong with capturing something innately rebellious already.

Enough chitchat. Time for the crazies to start. This is actually a delayed post. I totally did not know where to start. Everything was too cool for words.

In no particular order (asa pang may order!), here goes:

One of their many prenup artworks. This one was made by Tokwa PeƱaflorida.

White w/ a Twist Gowns for MUCH MUCH LESS!

Photography by Lester Victoriano
http://www.ivoryandwhitebridal.com/

Good news for all our dear rebellious readers out there!

How many times have you had a conversation with friends & family asking you who your wedding gown designer is? And when you tell them that you'd rather just buy a gown, you see eyes and faces trying to keep a straight face for you but you know that they have a nasty thought they'd rather not tell you.

For some reason, buying off-the-rack wedding gowns seem to imply a lot of things--it's not of the same quality, it's gaudy, and it's just not that special as having one especially made for you. BUT WHO CARES?!?!? Bridal gowns come in all shapes, kinds, sizes, and brands. What's important is you are comfortable with what you are wearing and it makes you feel damn beautiful.

But sometimes, even off-the-rack gowns can get really expensive! So when Ivory & White emailed us about their very affordable yet oh so pretty bridal gowns, we knew we had to share this good news to our readers!

Off-the-Rack Gowns w/ Service De Luxe Service
Ivory & White's bridal gowns range from P15-000-P40,000. They have over 30++ styles to choose! The best part is, you get an off-the-rack gown but with a service de luxe experience because their showroom is by appointment only so they can take care of you and your entourage on a more personal level.

We love their collection of "White w/ a Twist" bridal gowns!

Thank you for sharing this good news to us and our readers Ivory & White! :)

Get Your Freak On

Mica and I are seeing some kind of a rebellious pattern this week that is just in a whole other extreme level. And here we thought Maggie Wilson & Victor Consunji's prenup video was already oh-so-steamy for the general public.

We celebrate and salute the couples, and the wicked teams that were tapped to tastefully create these irreverent visions.

More on these weddings/prenups hopefully soon!

What say you rebellious brides?

Road trip Prenup Session

I just love the idea and the overall tone of this road trip prenup session. There's just something naturally cool about it. No overly done cheesy poses, no overly done drama, no overly done styling, no overly done camera tricks. Just pure fun, pure groove.

Here's what Rebellious Bride Chloe had to say about their prenup:

  Hi Team Rebellious Brides,

I would like to share our prenup video by Bob Nicolas. I really think that our video is unique, as we strayed away from the usual teaser/prenup video formula. We chose our own music (not your typical love song or instrumental music you often hear in wedding teasers), and we gave Bob our vision, which basically was a road trip, feel-good type of video. Styling was done by RabbitHole Creatives. The video reflects our love for the beach and of course, our puppies. :) I hope you like it.

Regards,
Chloe

Thank you for sharing this with us Chloe and Jonny and congratulations to you both! :)
