Top bridal worries that you should forget about!

As a bride, it is hard to just sit back, relax and forget all the worries that you have regarding your Brides. It is the biggest event you will ever organise and you are mostly doing it all by yourself. Your Brides day should be enjoyed to the maximum by your family, guests and most of all by the bride and groom as it is their day. So here's some top bridal worries that I have been looking it and ironing out. Do not stress about the smallest things that really aren't relevant in the grand scheme of things!
The bridesmaids
Bridesmaids have specific jobs to help the bride on the Brides day, that is essentially what they are there for. When choosing your bridesmaids ensure that you pick the right girls that will carry out their duties without you having to check up on them. Bridesmaids can also create drama (the day is not about them!) so either pick your non dramatic friends or speak with them beforehand so you have a stress free fun day!
Making the mothers happy
Mothers of both bride and groom look at their son or daughters Brides almost as a second Brides for them to organise. Involve them as much as you like but if you don't want their opinions on something make your decision without them, it is easier this way. Mothers are great but they can interfere to an extent and no one wants any familial conflict before the big day.
The weather
Yes this is easier said than done but literally forget about the weather!! There is nothing you can do. Even summer days can be poor. No one has the power to ensure you have a sunny dry warm day. Create a contingency plan for bad weather so that everything will run smoothly if it does happen to be an awful day! Photographers say that this is one of the things that they wish they could get bride's not to worry about. They will capture the best moments whether it is under an umbrella or in the basking sunshine!
 The groom and his part
Are you finding that your groom has very little interest in the planning of your big day? This is normal. Most men don't want to pick flowers or pretty invitations. Leave the car hire and music to him and take care of the rest yourself. If he utters the words 'do what you like' , take it as gospel as he is telling the truth, it doesn't mean that he has no interest in the day or marrying you!
The groomsmen
The stag party is organised and you are in a panic. There is very little you can do except attend the stag party to ensure that it is how you want it to be. Yes it is likely to be crazy, but it is a big occasion let it be marked with no stress or nagging!
The best man speech is another fear. If the man in question has respect for you and your groom he isn't going to say anything atrocious. If anything he will embarrass the groom but it will be lighthearted and comical. Your guests won't judge but just laugh along. Give him his right to freedom of speech!
Are your guests having a good time?
If you provide everything for the guests that they could possibly need i.e. great food, flowing drink and quality entertainment it is certain that they will have a great time. People make their own fun with the people in their surroundings in a great setting which is exactly what your Brides is so make sure to enjoy it with them!
The perfect dress and shoes
Have you tried on 50 dresses and nothing yet?! Keep looking as the dress is a very important part of the Brides day! You will find it and you will know when you put it on. Try and show as less people as possible any photographs as their opinions will start affecting your own. Keep it to the bridal party at most.
Try not to worry about your shoes. If your dress is floor length and most are no one is going to see your shoes. They are an added expense for something that may not be seen. Ensure that they are comforatble and the right height first and foremost. If you are wearing a short dress however invest some more time and energy into finding the right shoe.

The guest list
Probably one of the biggest worries of them all as this controls your budget. If you parents want to invite a certain amount of guests you should take control of this. Give them a set number and leave it at that. Don't feel obliged to invite people you don't know too well. The last thing you want is a room full of guests half of which you wish you hadn't invited.
So try and have a stress free run up to the Brides and take into consideration my thoughts above. Easier said than done but there are some things that are best not worried about!!!

7 Elements to Consider in Planning Your Summer Brides

Summer Bridess are romantic in every way. Nature gives you a myriad of bright colours as gorgeous backgrounds. The radiant sun provides the perfect natural lighting for your photos. Destination Bridess particularly beach Bridess look extra spectacular during summer. It just spells beauty at every turn. A summer Brides may be picturesque but it also takes extra planning. Here are seven elements you need to prepare for:

Rays of the sun. As much as it gives ideal lighting to your photos, it can also make your guests look sweaty, reddish, and haggard. Make sure that your ceremony will take place in a shaded area. If not, you can provide a tent or cute umbrellas for your guests. You can also hold your Brides late in the afternoon toward sunset for a cooler temperature. The setting sun will also make a breathtaking background for your summer Brides.

Scorching heat. Summer heat can be draining. Make sure that you have refreshments readily available for your guests like cold bottled water or fresh juices. When you scout for catering services, ask them if they can cover this for you. If not, buy them ahead of time. You can even put stickers with your initials on the refreshment bottles! Provide paper fans on every seat for each of your guests. It would be best to be in a shaded area with lots of trees. Tents with big air conditioning units will be comfortable as well.
Unpredictable weather. The weather can either be your best friend or worst enemy. Its unpredictability is what makes it difficult to gauge. There is no guarantee that this morning’s forecast will be the same in the afternoon. You need to have a back-up plan if in case Mother Nature decides to pour some rain on your Brides. Choose a venue that has a covered area where you can easily move. Those pretty umbrellas should also be accessible at any given time.

Wild winds. Gusty winds can make your decors fly. It can also ruin your hair and Brides gown. Strong winds can keep making your guests uncomfortable as they prevent their dress from getting blown away. No outdoor summer Brides is windproof but you can make sure that you have elements that can block off the wind such as huge tents and pillars. You need to tell your event stylist that you need the decors to be as secure as possible.
Uninvited insects. Since most summer Bridess are done outdoors, you will have uninvited guests that fly around during the ceremony. These insects can be pretty annoying, too! If it is still within your budget, provide hypoallergenic insect-repellent lotions for your guests. Stay away from gardens that are not maintained properly. You wouldn’t want different creatures popping out of nowhere during your Brides. Do not expose your food unless it’s time to eat already. Coordinate well with your florist to ensure that you don’t pick flowers that entice bees and other freeloader insects.
Guest schedule. Summer is synonymous with vacation time. You need to send your “save the date” notifications early on so that your guests can block off your Brides date before they go on vacation. Be strategic in scheduling the date of your Brides. You also need to coordinate with your suppliers early as some of them go on short vacations, too.

Comfort food.
By that we mean refreshing comfort food. Guests will appreciate food that will cool them down. Take advantage of the fruits that are abundant during the summer and make it a significant part of your buffet table. Make as many fruits available as you can in your salad bar and dessert area. Guests will love it because it’s both healthy and refreshing at the same time. Choose a reliable caterer who can serve these fresh fruits in addition to your delectable courses. If your budget permits, fresh fruit juices and shakes would be superb.

The best way to go about a summer Brides is thorough preparation. These elements are beyond your control but you can manage around it. You need not worry about these things as long as you have the necessary things prepared for your guests. All you need to do is enjoy the moment, soak in the beauty of your summer Brides, and let nature take its course.

Things to consider for an outdoor Brides!

Here is a guest post from Michelle Rebecca that links in very well with our current weather to get you thinking about whether to have an outdoor Brides or not!

An increasingly popular option for summer and autumn Bridess is to hold the service or reception outdoors. It’s no wonder, considering how the setting is naturally romantic and the fantastic options and themes that are possible.
Popular options include garden receptions and beach Bridess. Forest themed Bridess have become popular in recent years as well. If you are considering eschewing the traditional indoors setting for something daring, there are some things to keep in mind while planning:

Planning is Key
Most brides have had their ideal Brides planned in their head since long before they put on an engagement ring. A Brides planner is there to help translate what you have in your head and make it a reality.
Some of the details like potential inconveniences don’t get as much attention while planning. But in order to have the perfect day, it’s important to be practical and focused while planning to ensure there’s a plan for any issues that have the potential to interrupt the big day.
The Weather and Climate
In your mind’s eye, your Brides day is probably sunny. But no one can control the weather, which is why you should have a backup plan. There are many touches that you can add to your Brides that will prepare for rain but still keep your event beautiful. After all, kissing in the summer rain is pretty romantic.
Because it can get quite hot during the summer, you can avoid some heat problems by simply scheduling your Brides for the evening when it’s cooler. Similarly, if you are planning on an early spring or late autumn Brides, you might want to schedule it a couple of hours after midday, when the weather is warmest and most comfortable.

Don’t Forget Nature’s Party Crashers

There is probably some person you can think of you’d rather not have at your Brides. But there are certainly animals and especially insects that you won’t want coming to the reception either. Even if you are having the Brides in an outdoor setting that’s used frequently, it’s still a good idea to have a look around for ant hills and other crawlies that might need to be evicted before your special event.
Of course, that won’t help with flying pests. The buzzing of a mosquito can especially ruin a quiet, romantic moment. Talk with your Brides planner or look around to find the best mosquito devices to keep them away.

You can also help to avoid potential discomfort for some of your guests if you let them know beforehand that the Brides will be outdoors. Your loved ones will certainly want to dress their best for the event, and they will appreciate some direction on how to best match with the theme you’re looking for.
While outdoor Bridess can be especially romantic and unforgettable, just remember that they require a little extra planning to make sure they’re memorable for the right reasons!
